    Why was this fight even made? Did anyone think this fight was going to go any other way? Arce had no chance, this was a BS fight. Donaire should be fighting Rigo or Mares, or moving up in weight. He is still so much bigger than everyone he fights at these lower weights. I think Mares/Donaire is the best fight to see at that weight right now. Then Donaire needs to move to featherweight and fight guys like Gamboa, Juanma, Salido, etc. That is where he really belongs, he is just too big and powerful for these Bantams.

      That's tough for Donaire to fight with that knuckle injury. Great win for him.

        As a stay busy fight it's a lot better than Fedchenko or Likar Ramos. Arce is one of the biggest name/money fights below 126 (I think Donaire's first $1m purse), and always brings it. Except yesterday, happens a lot with Donaire. Imagine Rigo's posture after he catches a left hook. Mares probably keeps bringing it, to his detriment.
