margarito barely beat clottey for christ sakes. He is one of the most overrated fighters on this board. His best win was cotto in a fight he was highly suspected of cheating. He was CAUGHT outright trying to cheat against mostley and got his ass beat. He has had the most problems with fighters who have good movement.

Based on skills I think Floyd would've won but there's also a psychological aspect here, and it can be said Floyd had some fear of facing prime Marg. Mosley-Margarito was on a local sports network here in Florida last weekend, I have to say that was a very good fight for like 4 or 5 rounds. I didn't remember how good it was.

Yes, I think he would have out worked floyd, thing is he had a god like chin and relentless stamina, he could throw a 1000 punches per fight if not more and still be able to go that extra mile when it was needed

people forget against mosley, the guy was like 170-175 pounds a month before the fight, he was in terrible condition, lost his resistance and stamina because of it

Floyd would not have been able to tie him up, he would not have been able to stop him coming forward

Floyd has great stamina as well, we have seen for example the first 3 -4 rounds in the cotto fight that you can hit margo easy and move, that way you bank rounds, there is also a possibility floyd would have been able to do that for 12 rounds and got an easy win

but in my opinion, a prime margo would beat floyd, you needed serious power to stop margo in his tracks, like pac has/had

A prime 147 lb Margarito would have given Floyd everything he could handle. It would be a great fight, sadly we will never see it. Floyd I think would have won but he would have had a part of his soul taken from him.
