He ain't special, he ain't great, he's just a servicable 140lb fighter who managed to exploit one of Khans many flaws.

Ashley Thophane, a basic, domestic level 140lb'r went to war with garcia and arguably got robbed only a couple fights ago.

That fight was literally 20 months (almost 2 years ago), what elite talent has Theophane fought since Garcia? Theopane was 30 years old and Garcia was 22, and since that fight who has fought the better competition?

I mean Maidana is easy to hit and not a great boxer, he has some power but he throws wide looping punches, I think Garcia would easily land on Maidana. Although Marcos might have his moments he will ultimately end up losing inside of the distance. After seeing a washed up Morales be effective against Maidana, I think the young Garcia would dispatch of a very basic Maidana
