Arce wont even be taking these tests but and Donaire is. Apparently all it takes to convince posters that a fighter is clean is for them to say "ill take the test", meanwhile only 1 guy in all of boxing is self imposing these tests ONLY on himself. What a joke. The best way to prove yourself clean is to do real OST on yourself, not claim you're cool with OST and then never actually take it
Oh no gets serious respect from me too for that but if so many are going to assume guilt by association then he for sure must be thrown in there. Dont think hes dirty but hes associated to a former big time dealer of PED's. See how that works.

Arce wont take tests? Is this from Arum who couldnt get on the same page as Roach about that and the moment Roach said that Memo and JMM came out and said they will or is this from Arce camp saying no?

I agree with you that more rigorous tests should be implemented across the board. But that is another discussion, given that the fight already occurred and both camps had the opportunity to make their case for more stringent testing since before the fight was made and that did not occur. Given the circumstances of this particular case the only option would be to accept the testing that was agreed upon before the fight by both camps and the commission. Since all parties involved signed the contract, they felt at the time the testing was adequate. I am not saying that the testing done by the commission is adequate, I am saying that the camps both felt that the testing was adequate.

In the video shown by the op the Marquez camp says unequivocally that they approached the Manny camp after the last fight and asked if they wanted more stringent testing and the Manny camp remained silent. So why is it that JMM is considered guilty (I'm not saying you consider him guilty), even though there is no lab based evidence to suggest there was any wrongdoing (No evidence yet, given that the test results are announced in the near future). And then some people (I'm not saying you) have said that even thorough testing would not satisfy doubt because the tests can be falsified. It seems that some people have decided that he is guilty and nothing is going to change their mind.

That not what im arguing, i never claimed JMM is guilty by association, i said that he should be taking full testing (year round) and he shouldnt request another fighter to take it with him for that to be the ONLY reason that he would take it.

If you want to prove you're clean, you should have no problem self imposing year round testing like Donaire, yet all im hearing from guys like Ward, Khan, Floyd, Pac and all these fighters is that they're willing to do OST, yet dont. Whats stopping them from getting tested?

And its known Arce isnt taking OST for this fight, i dont care the politics behind it

The commission's tests which come out soon are worthless because they don't test for relevant PEDs

Yeah, but if Manny was ever on it, he hasn't been in his last few fights and how ironic he now states he will take the test the day of the fight with Mayweather. Back in 2010 he would only agree to 24 days from the fight and wouldn't accept Mayweathers offer of 14 days before the fight.

You're delusional. Those are the facts. You can have your own opinions but not your own facts. They are what they are, good bad or ugly. I don't have a dog in the fight, I actually like JMM...but it is what it is.

                  They don't test for:
                  HGH
                  EPO
                  Synthetic Testosterone

i think jmm's clean and legit. but to play devil's advocate, didn't heredia claim to have knowledge of drugs that are currently undetectable? a person with knowledge of olympic testing standards can then exploit the gaps between current testing standards and cutting edge PEDs.

also, the testing will be for the next fight, not this last fight. he passes the test, that proves that he's clean during the testing period but not any previous fights, same goes for pacquiao.

That maybe true but why wasn't the Pacquiao camp interested in more stringent tests before the fight was signed. They made their beds (agreeing to commission tests only), so they should sleep in it.
