He will take some time off and enjoy the victory...his body will recover and settle down from all the training and the fight...his mind will distance a bit from it all...and then someone will offer him the biggest mega paycheck of his life and career and he will say why not...end of story.

Lets just put it this way. 99.9% of WW's couldn't have taken the shots jmm was taking in order to be in position to land that KO. Simple and plain. All credit to Marquez, but don't act like his plan of taking all those shots couldn't have back fired on him, and it damn well almost did.
Evident by the 5th and 6th round. Remember Roy saying "it's over, jmm is done!" In the 5th round.Last edited by Scarcaztic; 12-11-2012, 01:27 AM.Comment

Manny was doin much better in a the 4th fight than he did in the 3rd,the new strategey it was working ,but even then although he was being more effective with the increased movement, even there MArquez adjusted stepped it up yet another notch and beat him there too, its safe to say the only thing that Manny can do is wait and get JMM old, Marquez simply has this guys number end of story nothing you can say will change it,it was a long time coming but its over ,JMM is too much for Manny,Manny is a great fighter and his style can beat other fighters it vexes them but JMM is simply way too smart for him just way too much ring I.Q. I do not even beleive Mayweather would do as well against Manny as JMM has given his last few performances.Well, yeah. He always makes him miss and pay, and so does Manny. The only difference is, in the 5th fight, Manny adjusted with a lot more head movements and feints, then he made the uber mistake of the century.
You act like Marquez wasn't almost on the same end of a ko, in the 5th and almost all of the 6th round. We get it. He got knocked out, but don't act like he was getting beat from pillar to post then laid out after being beat the hell up.
It was a great shot. Congradulations Marquez. Things like this happen when you constantly fight the best. Plus their styles lend to either one getting caught with a bomb.
You act like Manny has never even put a single glove on Marquez's face. Get real homie.Comment

Agree on your last point. Floyd would NEVER be willing to take the shots Manny were landing in order to beat him. It takes an uber warrior to do that. Floyd is not that.Manny was doin much better in a the 4th fight than he did in the 3rd,the new strategey it was working ,but even then although he was being more effective with the increased movement, even there MArquez adjusted stepped it up yet another notch and beat him there too, its safe to say the only thing that Manny can do is wait and get JMM old, Marquez simply has this guys number end of story nothing you can say will change it,it was a long time coming but its over ,JMM is too much for Manny,Manny is a great fighter and his style can beat other fighters it vexes them but JMM is simply way too smart for him just way too much ring I.Q. That's why he's ducking.
He caught Manny, simple and plain. All respect in the world for that.Last edited by Scarcaztic; 12-11-2012, 01:34 AM.Comment

To say that you had a difficult time understanding my post would be a colossal understatement. That in your opinion Pacquiao has "never beaten Marquez" is completely irrelevant to my post. As is your statement about "Pacquiao not being Nadal, Mayweather is". Absurd; I'm not sure what this has to do with anything.
I'm assuming you are incapable of concentrating on more than one sentence or idea at a time. The point is not that Marquez's punch was a 'fluke', but that it wasn't a conclusion that was definitely going to happen. Why are you are trying to insinuate that was a fluke ?
Again, Pacquiao has never beaten Marquez, he knows this.
But it did, and it was glorious.
You're mentally challenged. I'm sorry to deviate from eloquent posting, but you can't reason with someone when all of the clues about life have fallen out of their head. You are incredibly ignorant for insinuating that Marquez would only have a punchers chance against Pacquiao. Its like you didnt even watch or understand the third fight, which was only a year ago.
Unbelievable.
Marquez does not have a mere "puncher's chance" against Pacquiao. Have you read any of my other posts about Marquez? Here, let me direct you to the very post you're replying to:
As I clearly state above, skills, power, chin, and etcetera all improve your chances of winning in boxing. Enormous skill at the game of tennis improves your chances considerably of winning, however it does not mean that you cannot lose to Lukį Rosol even if you're Nadal. In boxing, skills, power, chin, etc. all give you a better probability of winning, they do not ensure it.
To take your idiotic statement from above, saying that Nadal's equivalent in boxing is Mayweather opens Floyd up to the possibility that a Lukį Rosol in boxing could beat him. A ranked 100th nobody. Your words.
My point is this: the outcome was one of many that could have occurred on Saturday night. For Marquez, everything came together in fantastic fashion. He was fortunate, and yes, that's part of boxing no matter what happens. Had Pacquiao KO'd him in round one, that doesn't mean that Pacquiao KO's Marquez in round 1 any time they fight. It's just what happened.
If you think I'm denying Marquez credit, look at my post history since the fight. Lots of praise for Marquez because he's the fighter with the very best chance of pulling something like this off against Pacquiao. That's not because he's the "luckiest man in the world", it's because he's got skills, a big heart, and power. And when you've got those three things, you've got a much better chance of KOing an ATG than someone like Timothy Bradley does. So all credit to Juan, one of my favorite fighters.
For ****'s sake, don't ever consider yourself deserving of a response from me again.
