Mayweather vs. Marquez II in Azteca Stadium

Wouldn't that be a good way for JMM to say farewell and close out his career?

He'd get the biggest payday of his career and the location would give him home field advantage.

Floyd isn't fighting outside of vegas and it's a pointless match the first fight wasn't competitive at all. At this point it's just Floyd Fanatics calling for the fight because they know he would win and it would enhance his legacy.

It's being opportunistic like always. He should fight Martinez or retire

Why should he fight Martinez? Because he'll lose to a guy coming into the ring weighing ~175, when Floyd can't even make 150. Do the math.

The only reason people want that fight so bad is because Martinez would physically destroy Floyd due to the difference in size. You need to understand weight divisions are there for a reason. Even when you catchweight somebody, as long as they have professional nutritionists behind them they can rehydrate to their normal fight-weights. Martinez would be HUGE compared to Floyd even at 154. At 160 it would be even more glaring.

It would be an interesting fight, but you can't knock Floyd for avoiding a fight with Martinez. I mean get real dude. People need to just realize that Floyd's only real tests are fights people don't even want to see because they aren't big enough "names" (which further proves that all the new boxing fans are fickle twats that totally disrespect the sport with their favoritism towards certain fighters, and bias' against others)

If I was Marquez I'd rather retire with KO'ing Pac than losing a decision against Mayweather.

You don't think the new, improved Marquez can give him a better fight? With over 100,000 of his countrymen cheering him on?

Plus it would give him the biggest payday of his career so that he can go into retirement very comfortably.

You missed the key part OP, forget the venue, it should be at 143-144lbs.

Marquez going up to fight Mayweather, and just after moving up to 135, is the same as Mayweather moving up to fight Martinez. Only difference is that Mayweather doesn't have the balls.
