I doubt it.

One, I don't think Mayweather would have knocked out Pac, he would just dominated him on the scorecards. Pac is sloppy enough overall that May would hit him and often, but I doubt he ever gets the advantage the way Pac did early on in this fight to get the confidence to walk right in for a KO shot on the button against Floyd.

Also, I really don't think Floyd cared about the Manny fight as much as the fans and pundits did, for all the good and the bad that says about him.

Floyd's ring smart enough to see the weaknesses in Manny's style to know that he was susceptible to something like that anyway and that as his natural abilities faded and he didn't polish up his style that he was most likely going to suffer a defeat like this eventually. If Floyd REALLY cared about being the one to beat Manny, he'd have gone out of his way to fight him after JMM/Pac II...

Mayweather would not get hit with that kind of shot.

That's not his style. He could get hit with an overhand right and put to sleep similar to the first Pac KD though.

Although rarely hit Mayweather in their fight, he did hit him with at least 5 or 6 flush shots. Any Mayweather simply walked right through it and smiled. If Marquez lands that shot on Mayweather (which would never happen) what would happen?

He would have taken it just like he did Mosley's shot .. who by the way punches twice as hard as Marquez.

Floyd doesn't go for the KO like that but let's say Floyd somehow did get into that position where he gets caught not seeing the punch. Yeah, he would have felt it just as bad as Pac did.

Actually he does sometimes but its not so consistent and easy to time as when Manny does it so he never gets caught as a result. However, it's perfectly possible that he could one day and he would get knocked out like any other fighter. Your bold part is ******ed. Floyd is one of the best defensive fighters ever whereas Manny walks into shots when he is aggressive. I don't know whose chin is better but you cannot use your logic to decide - Mayweather's simply isn't that tested. Pac has an iron chin - he's proved that many times. I don't care what anyone says but it doesn't matter how good your chin is, if you walk into a perfectly timed punch that you don't see coming from a decent puncher, and it lands in the right place, you are going to sleep. The same would be true for George Chuvalo and Marvin Hagler - it just didn't happen to them luckily.

I was responding to a guy saying Manny has ATG chin and Floyds chin has no chance. I am not using the Floyds never been down evidence to say he has a better chin I am just saying it can't be that bad if he has never been down in 43 fights. He still gets tagged and has done by big guys and big hitters but never been down. He has been chin checked enough times to know he has a good chin and manny has been chin checked to know he also has a good chin, not ATG but good.
