How would Mayweather have reacted to that shot by Marquez?

Seeing as Mayweather is a much bigger fighter (and a cheater) I think he goes down but beats the count. Afterall, the punch would be angled and the form just wouldn't quite be the same because of his taller stature.

This isn't about 'chin'. I hate when people talk about 'chins' as if it's something you can accurately measure when every punches power and angle and your head and neck's reaction to it is always different. This isn't something you can compare apples to apples and figure out.

Getting KO'ed unconscious is a natural physiological reaction to getting punched a certain way and having your brain bounce in your skull. This isn't about willpower. Manny was un-con-scious. He couldn't have 'willed' himself to get back into this fight.

The best way to have a good 'chin' is to not take flush shots to the head. The best way to avoid getting knocked out if you get hit in the head is to roll with it so your head doesn't get jarred. Relying on some physiological ability to turn off your brain's desire to shut down your consciousness after suffering a sudden cerebral concussion, i.e. your 'chin' is a great way to become K.O. fodder.

If Mayweather were boxing sloppy enough to jump into a solid straight on the button like that, his brain would probably tell him to go to sleep like just about everybody else's brain.

Mayweather doesn't box like Manny though, so the odds of this situation happening are extremely slim and makes this question silly. A better poll would be more like 'Would Mayweather even taken a shot like that in a fight with Marquez?', though we already have ample evidence that he would most likely not, so that would probably be another poll not needed.

Although rarely hit Mayweather in their fight, he did hit him with at least 5 or 6 flush shots. Any Mayweather simply walked right through it and smiled. If Marquez lands that shot on Mayweather (which would never happen) what would happen?

LOL yeah Mayweather was like 20 pounds bigger. In a fair fight Marquez vs Mayweather is an extremely competitive fight and that punch KOs just about anybody.

Yeah Mayweather doesn't jump in like an idiot so he would never get caught with that shot but everyone is human and he would be knocked out from it. But lol at Pac having an atg chin and Floyd being glass chined. They are probably about even. How many times has Pac tasted the canvas? And Floyd..? Right, thats what I thought. The only times Floyds been close to going down is the massive mosley shots and the corley shots. Pac would have been seriously hurt or gone down from those shots no doubt.

Actually he does sometimes but its not so consistent and easy to time as when Manny does it so he never gets caught as a result. However, it's perfectly possible that he could one day and he would get knocked out like any other fighter. Your bold part is ******ed. Floyd is one of the best defensive fighters ever whereas Manny walks into shots when he is aggressive. I don't know whose chin is better but you cannot use your logic to decide - Mayweather's simply isn't that tested. Pac has an iron chin - he's proved that many times. I don't care what anyone says but it doesn't matter how good your chin is, if you walk into a perfectly timed punch that you don't see coming from a decent puncher, and it lands in the right place, you are going to sleep. The same would be true for George Chuvalo and Marvin Hagler - it just didn't happen to them luckily.
