On another note Marquez had landed both punches perviously on Manny many times before but this time he got full formed extension on them. He had been dropping southpaw sparring partners with those shots in some of the training footage i saw.
    Solid explanation. No arguments here.

As explained by "Ultimate," Marquez put everything into that punch, and it landed with perfect execution. Tough not to go down from that shot. No surprise Manny didn't get back up.

Everyone thought Mccellan died though when Nigel did that paint job, a lot of fans at that arena thought he seriously died from the cumulative punishment.

I was a bit scared for Lennox when he got hit by Rahman in RAHMAN I, not because of the punch but because of the noise Lennox made crashing to the floor.

I'll never forget the noise a 6'5 245 pound legend makes in crashing to the canvas. I think he hit his head too.

it was a loud THUD, I cried my eyes out that night, but Lennox got him back.

I jumped and yelled but I expected PAC to get up, when I saw he was out cold I stopped celebrating and go really worried. It was scary to see the ring doctors actually check his pulse to see if he was alive...I truly thought he killed him.

I thought Wladmir died against Sanders.

Glad pac is ok. Serious stuff boxing is.
Wlad had a weird look on his face.

How could that not have crossed anyone's mind? He was completely motionless for like three minutes.

But to answer the question, yes. I did the sign of the cross and said R.I.P Manny, but a minute later I saw him awake on his stool. Awesome fight!
