I'm sorry but at 154 Canelo's resume >>>>> Floyds. Only reason Cotto was/is at 154 is because he's too lazy to lose weight and i've been a fan of Cotto's since he was an amateur. Also Trouts resume at 154 only has Cotto's name on it that can validate him too..so again how is Trout the man to beat?

You said Sergio cleaned out 154.......he beat Cintron and Buenma, that's not cleaning anything out. You should be looking at yourself sideways for claiming Sergio cleaned out 154, Canelo is a bigger star in boxing than Floyd, and that Canelo beating M. Hatton, Gomez, Rhodes, Cintron, Mosley, and Lopez at 154 is better than Floyd beating De La Hoya and Cotto.

So because boxers with speed have a good shot to beat Cotto, it's a bad win. At the time, Cotto at 154 was one of the most legit fights Floyd could take. There were several people on here, and in general saying this....."Floyd will duck Cotto at 154 and fight Canelo".

Oh and Sergio isn't a legit 154 lb fighter, he's been at 160 for 4 years and has been at the weight for his last 7 fights now, 8 if you count his next fight against Murray. Trout and Canelo are legit 154 lb fighters, they should fight each other. Instead we'll probably see Canelo fight Cotto coming off a loss to Trout now.

Seriously, Canelo had chances to fight Molina, coming off beating Cintron. Kirkland coming off beating Angulo. Rodriguez coming off beating Wolak. Trout coming off beating Rodriguez and now Trout coming off beating Cotto. And he opted to not fight one of them. Canelo-Trout NEEDS TO HAPPEN. These 154 lb fighters need to fight each other.
