You can recite the whole, "if you want to see a slug fest, watch UFC" rebuttal, but casual fans are what keeps the sport in the mainstream whether you like it or not. I disagree that the casual fan are the ones buying the 59.99, 59.99 PPV. A casual fan is used to turning on the TV and watching the Superbowl, Wimbledon, UFC, World Series Poker, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and women's volleyball for free. Casual fans are not used, nor will they like, being told "You want to see this? Pay 50, 60 dollars." The casual fan is more likely to go find a bar that has PPV or just watch it online for free.

I thought it was a decent technical fight. It amazes me how some boxing enthusiast can't appreciate the skill and performance of 2 decent prospects. Just because there were no kdowns or anybody got seriously hurt means it was a boring fight. Some people need to pay more attention to see if they learn something!

are you's kidding me, patrick hyland was the only one forcing the fight..he is an outstanding fighter and will most definitely be a world champion very soon...people wrote him off at the start but he proved a lot of people wrong...well done pajo...
