Ward may have to defend his tittle but no rule says he has to go to the back yard of the challenger.I would like to see a rematch in Las Vegas with 3 neutral judges and a neutral referee.
Ward now has to defend against Kessler.

Mikkel Kessler does not want to fight Andre Ward again. I can't believe people are falling for all this talk.Comment

Yes, I have. Have you ever heard of a champion not wanting to defend their tittle in a foreign country for fear of getting robbed? I would like Kessler to get a fair fight and I would be rooting for him to win but the champ should not have to travel overseas to defend his tittle. Broner won't do it and I doubt Ward will do it. If Ward agrees to go to Denmark that would be great.Comment

If you call getting beat up and outclassed in your hometown "interesting ", that's a bit harsh. Would love to it JUST to hear the responses on here post- fight.Comment

Ward did much more against Kessler than just headbutt him on the inside. His jab presented way too many problems for him and Ward presented too many angles for him just like Calzaghe did.
Kessler is a very one dimensional fighter. It's a good one dimensional, but once you figure him out, he's done for. Ward, on the other hand, keeps adapting throughout the fight. It's the main difference between them and why Kessler will never be able to win unless Denmark just robs Ward.
P.S. Froch did the same tactics to Kessler in Denmark and got away with it.
Only Ward could win both fights against Kessler and Froch convincingly and for some reason have to travel abroad for rematches.Last edited by warp1432; 12-08-2012, 09:40 PM.Comment
