    Diaz is a good trainer.

Cotto is just past prime, been in too many wars, was rob of his definitive PRIME because of Margaritos cement.

Margarito and Pacquiao were particularly brutal. Those two batterings would take years off any man's sporting life.

Those were brutal wars. Not gatti, coralles brutal but a war nonetheless.

Both participants had their shelf life dramatically decreased no doubt.

                  Corley? Clottey? Seriously?

You only named 3 legit ones. That's not "too many" wars.

Margarito and Pacquiao could easily be enough. Even one bad beating could alter a given boxer's life. Not everyone is built the same. Consider Meldrick Taylor; he was ruined after the beating sustained at the hands of JCC.

This. One fight can change everything.
