Sturm doesn't possess the KO power to KO Taylor so that is mostly out of question, his style is totally wrong, a close decision will most likely go to Taylor, he's also travelling to a new country, another possibility why he would get robbed.

Seriously, if he loses he is out of the picture because no one will really give him a chance until he gets himself into a mandatory position.

Felix Sturm is recovering from an injury. His last bout was on 6/18/05. He is a great fighter but no Sugar Ray Robinson. I'd be very ****** of him to take the proposed offer and Taylors camp knows that. If Sturm loses the bout (due to inactivity, comeing from an injury, fighting in Taylors hometown) he's outa the picture for a while.

He'll fight for more money in Germany and than there is the big money opportunity for a bout against Taylor. I doubt that Taylor will still propose a fight then though.

Btw.: Sturm got robbed once in the US, no wonder he's being carefull.

America is not like Germany. In America people don't get robbed as much as Germany. Yea if the fight is a close fight, people will argue who won the fight. Sturm can never beat Taylor, so that's why he's ducking him.

If you had followed my post over the last 1 3/4 years I been on this site you'd know that I condemn the poor judging in some major fights in Germany as well as any objective boxing fan should. But it pretty naive to state that it wouldn't happen in America as well.

If a German guy fights a German guy in Germany most of the times the scorecards reads very reasonable. Now if an American guy fights an American guy in the USA they usually do as well (with some standout exceptions). But it is common knowledge that any European fighter who has no serious KO power has some major problems overseas.

And yes, I do think a) that Taylor is far from being the best middleweight around and b) that a fit, healthy Felix Sturm is the better fighter.

how do u guys now how much money sturm is getting? he was a champ and came to the US and had it robbed from him, why would he want to come back to fight taylor, for whatever money, in taylors home town, when thats a guarteened lose on the reocrd regardlees, not to mention he has been off for over 6 months now, sturm has alot to look for in the future, why would he want to throw it all away now, and yes i did say taylor would duck sturm, im glad to see he is offering sturm a fight, or... did taylor offer sturm so little money and he knew sturm would say no and is relieved that sturm wont fight him? untill both sides release statments that have the same amount offered u cant beilve anything, funny how all u asses jump on sturm cause of your hatred for me lmao, grow up
