The bottom line is that when you are offered a crack at the undisputed titles in one of boxing's most prestegious division, you take it.

Look at how much Judah made for his rematch with Spinks.

With the rarity of undisputed title shots, there's no reason to pass this fight up, especially when it would undoubtably set up bigger pay days down the road.

The ****head is talking about the money not being big enough. Why? Is the undisputed middle weight title not enough incentive for him to make a sacrifice fight? What a ****i'n lame excuse.
If he wins on this then he dictates his own purse, that very elementary. What a *****.

He doesn't fit to be an undisputed Champ anyway so he can just keep his sorry ass in Germany for the rest of his career.

      Another pretender EXPOSED!

December 23, 2005 - Reliable sources from Germany have informed **********.com that undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor has formally offered former WBO middleweight champion Felix Sturm $750,000 plus the German TV rights to challenge the undefeated champion in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas on HBO World Championship Boxing in late April. Although we've been unable to officially confirm it, ********** has also received word that Taylor would face Sam Soliman should the Sturm camp find his offer unreasonable.

That's a cop out, and an excuse.

He has a chance now, he may never have the same opportunity, and he's turning it down.

It's a bad move any way you look at it.

No it's not. Not when your first priority is your responsibilities to your family.

Fighting Taylor is a big risk at this point, and i'm not even talking about in the ring, i'm talking about the politics surrounding (more importantly, protecting) Taylor at this point.

an excuse? dude sturm is just as old as taylor and has a whole career ahead, if he passes this up now he may never have another opportunity? dude he can become the mandatory for taylor in 2 belts when he fights and beats that masseo guy, if he takes this fight now he will lose no matter what and then he may never get another shot again, do u really think sturm can win in little rock ask yourself that and answer the question dont avoid it liek u usually do,

if HBO can rob a 40 year old man who has been champ for 10 years out of his title, dont think they will hesitate at all robbing a young guy from germany they have doe it before

I think he 'could' win a decision anywhere if he goes in and does what he needs to do.

It's very ironic talking about a guy who fights almost exclusivly in Germany and saying "he shouldn't go anywehre because he might get robbed".

Taylor could lose the belts, they could become seperated, Sturm could injure himself in an upcoming fight...

A lot of things could happen preventing him from ever getting another chance like this.

Right now he's got a crack at the undisputed middleweight title, which if he won, would set up bigger paydays down the road.

You have said over and over Taylor would duck Strum.

You never have the luxuy of crying that thought again.

u think he "could" win a descion, just like he "could" have gotten a descion vs DLH right, he'd make more money fighting in germany, and to another point u mentioned, the belts look liek they are becoming seperated, isnt the wbc stripping taylor in feb if he doesnt fight winky? doenst arthur have the ibf, sturm has more options to put himself in a better postion to not get robbed by having a belt or 2 himself and not just being a guy from germany fighting in the champs backyard where there is no possible way for him to win,

now on the other hand if taylor offered sturm 750k to fight him in vegas and sturm turned it down, id be very dissapointed, but its not
