Very smart move by GBP.
Brook is going to take a lot of fans over, the chances are that fight will be quite a snoozefest. They'll get to see Lucas absolutely crush Beltran and think ''Wow, what a killer!'' and the U.K fans will all know Garcia from flattened Khan so they'll be loving the prospect of that fight.Comment

I disagree. I think they're trying to preserve Garcia vs. Khan 2.Very smart move by GBP.

And they also risk losing more money in the long run cause chances are Matthysse will not make them as much money as Garcia could due to PR's starting to embrace this guy...
You mean Lundy and Alexander-Brook will not have as much exposure as the Garcia fight IMO. Putting Matthysse on the undercard of this fight makes sense since Alexander will probably make it a snoozefest but that's about it. Only positive thing here is, Lucas will gain some fans from overseas.Very smart move by GBP.

Yea he will continues to look impressive, it is still a TV fight on a major network that will get replayed and DVRed by a bunch of people. It is a showcase fight, you don't do showcase fights for a guy if you don't care about them~ you put guys you don't care about in constant tough fights hoping they can be a dragon slayer for your more popular guys~
What fight were they going to put him in that really could raise his stock? So the next best thing is to put him in a fight where he can shine, which will help him build more of a base. Which will help build demand for bigger fights, like I said above it is on a major network on a fairly major card and it will probably be the best most impressive fight on that card. It is a very good spot for him and he is likely to shine.

Obviously rather Garcia vs Matthysse but I could never get tired of watching Amir get his chin belted off and doing some silly dance.
Not sure we can look completely past Judah though, mind you its the top level and could do wonders for his career so hes bound to lose in embarrassing fashion.Comment

How about leaving him on the Garcia-Judah undercard vs Cano? Cano impressed a lot of people who believed he beat Paulie. How's that for promoting and raising both fighters' stocks? How does moving him from Garcia-Judah to Alexander-Brook fighting a bum show they care about him.....?Yea he will continues to look impressive, it is still a TV fight on a major network that will get replayed and DVRed by a bunch of people.
