Golota, supposedly is getting ANOTHER undeserving title shot against Valuev. Hopefully that doesnt materialize. I know he's your boy, but ****. He lost every single one of his title shots. He should at least have to prove himself again, before getting another shot.

He lost 1 of those fights, miserably. But only lost 1. Byrd and Ruiz were wins. They won't give Golota a regular opponent because it wouldn't be a fight. Without giving him a title shot, the only person I see him having a struggle with is Maskaev, because they are almost mirror images of one another.

My favorite fighter retired, but if I had to choose one right now it would have to be JD Chapman.

Robberies or not, what's in the books is what counts. I think he definently deserved the win against Ruiz.

Embarassing wtf yeah really he has been good enough to get 4 shots at a title only fought the best fighters around in the last 15 years ...he should just be ashamed ...he has reached ppv and HBO caliber fights time and time again as most fighters can only dreem of getting 1 big fight ...not that he was is or ever will be the best but he is still damn good ...maybe re think this a bit the man has millions 4 one thing more money that most of us will ever see let alone spend or ever have ...in most parts of life that makes you a success

Golota said he'd retire if he lost to Brewster, which he did via an embarassing knockout in round 1. After that he had a fight set up with Saleta on the Rahman-Barrett card, but it never happened. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to, so he didn't retire, so what is he doing now?

I'm good, I took a break from the board for awhile, with football, work, and school, but i'm back now for awhile. I think if he would have beat Ruiz and Byrd and lost to Brewster, it wouldn't be so bad, but the constant piling up of apparent losses are killing his career. I still feel he was robbed, but like Godzhands says, its in the books.

I can agree with you on the last few rounds of that fight but golota wooped ruiz for most of it knocked him down and ruiz was penelaized a point golota had like 3 10-8 rounds and wone many of the other rounds besides those, but ytou are right ruiz did dominate the championship rounds no dought about it. Golota won the fight though by at least at least 2 points
