Tito likely has some roots in Africa, alot of black people left America and lived in Mexico, Puerto Rico, etc. And some ended up there by boat.

The vast majority of blacks who reside in these countries are decendents of ******. Remember they were brought to these countries first before even stepping foot on American soil.

"Puerto Ricans are a mixture of customs and cultures which have truly resulted in a great melting pot. The people who inhabited the island of Puerto Rico at the time of the European landfall were the members of the Taíno tribe. Today however no single full blooded Taino exists in Puerto Rico. In the 16th century the Spaniards arrived with their African black ******. Some of the Spanish and some ****** inter-married with the Taíno. In 1791, the ****** in Haiti, revolted against their white French masters. Many of the French escaped to Puerto Rico via the Dominican Republic and settled in the west coast of the island, especially in Mayaguez. Racial mixing, even before abolition, was more common in Puerto Rico than in Cuba or English colonies. This trend continued after 1873 when the abolition of slavery in Puerto Rico occurred (note that the date for the abolition of slavery is the date when all ****** were granted freedom, but, before that day and starting on 1837, the freedom of blacks could always be bought at the time of baptism). At the end of the 19th century Spain permitted the migration of Italians (principally from Corsica) and of the Irish to the island. In addition, Chinese started arriving at the island, as rail-road workers, during the 1840s to 1850s. These groups settled mainly in the southern cities of Puerto Rico. The main idea behind Spain's new immigration policy was to keep the local population from asking for its independence by permitting people whom they believed would be loyal to the Spanish Crown to live in the island. This trend continued after 1898, when Puerto Rico was annexed by the United States after the Spanish-American War, with the migration of Germans and Lebanese. More recent arrivals include inhabitants from nearby islands, including Dominicans and a substantial population of Cuban immigrants after 1959. There is a large percentage of US residents from the mailand who live mainly in the Media:San Juan Metro area."

i am puertorican and puerto rico is a big melting pot ...we are a mix of taino indian, spaniards, african ect......that is why our skin color varies from black to white..for example my grandmother is from a town called "loiza aldea" most of the population there is black skined like my grandmother she is puertorican but if you saw her you would assume she is african american..my grandfather is also puertorican but white skined with blue eyes....therefore my mom's skin is dark like tito's my dad is also puertorican with white skin therefore my skin is like a natural tan dark but not too dark .....this type of cycle is what happens in puerto rico ..i hope this helps explain why puertoricans vary in skin color ..

You think Tito is half black- hence i think you must not be too smart.

Puerto Ricans can be fair skin, blonde hair blue eyes, they can also be as black as Nigerians, and everywhere inbetween.

Actually he is in part right, over time, when you are exposed to more sun you produce more melanin. Melanin is what gives you a darker color. Melanin is what gives us our individual pigment. THe more melanin, the darker you are. Over time of prolonged exposure your body produces more melanin in order to protect you from the sun. Genes are passed down from generation to generation and this determines the offspring's pigment.
