If Canelo is the real deal, why not fight Trout? Fans want to see the best,fight the best. Cotto's done, so what does canelo prove by beating cotto ? This is Boxing not the UFC.

- Belts are stripped because there's a political agenda behind it.
- A mandatory can be ignored for over a year.
- Money fights matter more then title fights.
- A fighter can jump divisions and fight the champion ahead of everyone else.
- A fighter can lose, then his next fight be for another title.


But more importantly, money fights are more important then title fights. Sad but true. Right now GBP and the Canelo Mgt. are looking for a money fight.

Canelo does not control who he fights.

Yet he told GBP that he wasn't gonna fight in December and he was only gonna fight Cotto/Mayweather/Martinez in May. It sounds like he has more control than you think.

He said it's a "good choice", but we already know the deal.
