Guerrero has ONLY earned a shot at Floyd's belt. Floyd IS NOT obligated to fight Guerrero and Floyd can drop the belt if he prefers a shot at winning the 154 pound belt Canelo holds or the 160 pound belt Martinez holds and there is NOT A DAMN thing wrong with that.

Foyd can drop the belt any time he wants or he can chose to fight Guerrero. The LOGIC of money has nothing to do with my personal preference! I want to see the SUPERFIGHTS and if Floyd drops the belt and fights Martinez or Pac then there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT and the public would rather have those fights over Guerrero!

Unless it's a fight that is going to sell it self with no promotion, I doubt Floyd fights in February. Floyd likes to take his sweet time with his promotion and training, he doesn't like to mix them up and cram them together like a student who didn't study all semester but now decided to study 1 day before the exam. Floyd is not like that. BUT, it does make sense that Floyd does not fight in May 4th since GBP is looking to make a big fight with Canelo in May, maybe Floyd doesn't want to interfere because he works with GBP so he does not want to hurt Canelo's viewing numbers.
But Feb is too soon though, just fight one week before Pacquiao's fight in April to steal some of the spotlight from the farce fight Pacquiao-Rios. It'll also have people comparing the two performances closely and Mayweather-Pacquiao threads will blow up

4 corners... allow me to translate what they sayin. they sayin duck cause they feel that mayweather is ducking a legit threat to beat him, not duckin cause they have been neck n neck for a few years. not saying i agree with it, that just what i get from it. i agree with the ghost having earned it more so then alexander(and we all know how boring every devon fight is) but the mexican fanbase as opposed to a quarter of st lou fan base does alot for him aswell. as far as floyd goes, all i believe is that he won't ever fight sergio, and i'm prety sure he won't fight manny, although i've personally lost all interest in manny vs floyd. However, the mega fight for me would be the martinez fight. I just think that would be an amazing show of skill on both sides for that fight and would be great for our sport. as untrealistic as it may be. last note: I as a boxing fan am sure glad that the greats of past(srl, haglar, duran, sweet pea, pryer, etc) didn't think the way that floyd thinks though about safety 1st. If boxing and boxers were always that way, i just wonder what our sport would be? peace ya'll
