Because it was by far one of the most boring snooze fest that has ever disgraced a boxing ring.
Therefore I believe that Haye would have made much more money against Vitali the first time around when he was still a new face in the division. Think Gerry Cooney, he struck when the iron was hot and became a very wealthy man in the process.
Don't get me wrong because I am not saying that Haye hasn't made money. I just think his value took a big hit with the two stink fest with Valuev and Fraudley. I also don't think that the foul fest of an excuse for a boxing match against a very washed up Ruiz did much to help his cause. But in the end he got what he wanted by fighting Wlad. But considering the fact that no one was anywhere near as hype for fight, I know I wasn't, as they had been a few years earlier I can't help but believe that in the end it was for a lot less money. And that is all Haye really cares about.
I have to ask are you trying to imply that Vit was somehow afraid of Rahman or the Big O? Well in my opinion that doesn't even deserve a response. So I have nothing more to say about that.
