Jimmy Montoya has predicted that Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KOs) will knock out WBA Super-Middleweight Champion Brian Magee (36-4-1, 25 KOs) in Saturday night´s clash at Jyske Bank BOXEN. “I don´t want to take anything away from Magee, he is a great fighter and very skilled, but Mikkel is just too strong and too good for him,” Montoya said at today´s press training in Herning. “Mikkel is just one of a kind. Magee won´t be there for the tenth round.”

Think I am the only one who likes this fight.

Kessler mid-to-late stoppage in a more difficult than expected fight.

Should be a decent fight while it lasts. Don't see Kessler losing it though.

Megees thougness will be his doom, he is a comforward constantly active boxer, kessler will have a filed day throwing long stiff jabs and landing big right hands until magee crumble

Neither fighter seems to ever be in a dull fight. Both are entertaining and it should be Fun while it lasts. Ultimately Kessler has too much firepower for Magee, so barring injury, the dane should prevail in style and avenge the stoppage losses suffered by Larsen and Markussen.

Danish tabloid ekstrabladet, today states that Magee is to receive a purse of 3-4 million DKK which is about 600-800K USD.

I can't wait for this fight, it's not the biggest test of Kessler, but it will ultimately be a good anchorpoint to see where he is at.

And it's a dangerous fight, no doubt.

Why is Kessler fighting Lucian Bute's leftovers?

Wouldn't it have been better to fight Bute himself when the fight was offered?

First off, he has a clause with Froch, secondly, he don't dare going in with Kessler after losing so hard to Froch.
