Where Do You Rank Trout After Cotto Win?

Cotto is better than any win on Canelo's resume. According to RING Cotto was at 2 before this fight. Does Trout take over at 2? 3? lower?

Canelo 2A and Trout 2B for me, for now.

    I'd favor Canelo over Trout

Austin "Road Warrior" Trout...I'd like to see him get a fight in his home town now. He's earned it.

Lara, Molina, and now Trout belong above Alvarez without a single doubt. They are proven fighters within that division, something Alvarez is not. If you count Mayweather at 154, he belongs above Alvarez as well.

Trout has an argument for the top spot, or second if you count Floyd. No lower than 3 IMO.

I don't know that tonight was so much about Trouts rise as it is about Cotto falling off a cliff. I think the jury remains out on Trout IMO.

He's cemented himself as a top fighter @154. I don't like ranking this division because of Floyd and Canelo, so I won't.

Certainly no lower than #3 spot but cotto needs to hang up the gloves.
