If Floyd said help me with Mayweather Promotions and you start a whole new business, isn't that 2 different things???? Also, a lot of you dudes are way too wrapped up into this drama chit. These dudes need to put on fights and STFU....

I know people who hate Floyd is enjoying this, but 50 needs to take the high road and just start making fights. So what you have these fighters....Gamboa hasn't fought in forever! Dirrell had a long "medical or injury" layoff and now is on another layoff. Get these dudes some action already. Build your brand and stop talking about ur former boo.

Forgot Gamboa is fighting on Manny's card next week....

Just because you can't know everything doesn't mean you can't know anything.

There's been a pretty ludicrous myth about Mayweather's business acumen built up over the past 5 years, where lots of other fighters were denigrated as morons for not being as shrewd as Floyd and being their own men like he supposedly was.

I think that myth has been fairly well shattered at this stage. Floyd Mayweather is part of Al Haymon's business plan, it's not the other way around. Haymon used his influence at HBO to get Mayweather on board, because he knew that once he did, other boxers would follow. He allowed Floyd to play the fantasy tycoon role because he has little or no interest in having a public profile himself.

None of this is a knock on Floyd himself, really. Blowing through all their money really quickly is what a huge percentage of pro athletes will always do. It's the fraudulent image to the contrary that's taken a bit of a beating here.

I hate to say it, but I think you might be right. The sad part is that the one person who does genuinely care, that does tell it to him straight is the person that he hates and wants nothing to do with (his father). I know people are skeptical about the story as they should be, but I believe it only because I always felt Floyd reminded me of a friend of mine who is exactly the se way, he just has no regard for the way he spends, he once got $13, 000 check from a settlement, and was broke within 2 months when he was suppose to use it to come in with me on a real estate investment.

In regards to floyd though, he is going regret not doing this venture with 50 Cent at some point. He could easily have spread this TMT concept across many different things, and he blew it imo.

Uncle Bob wasn't lying when he said Floyd only fights when he's going broke.
Some dude and the IRS in unison yelling "dedication".... All Floyd's money is and will be on the table. If the taxes are lets say 30% and if you buy a few luxuries, after the sales tax? after expenses? How much is going into any athletes pocket? Earned income makes the IRS rich...and nobody else.

The mere fact that Floyd gambles the way he does shows that this guy will be tapped out real soon. FLoyd will be the next greeter at the Caeser's Palace before I am fitted for plastic teeth.

                  al haymon is a P1mp

Al Haymon and sammy and his 2 chimps are P1mps out for themselves. sad to see the kids being taken advantage of. Just watch sammy and the two pets in the ring. makes me want to vomit. good for .50 cent speaking out. he cares.

Have kept quiet on this whole fall out or beef between this two, but I find it hilarious how many posters on talked about how 50 was going to fail flat on his face with this boxing promoting, but now that he is exposing Floyd, 50 is getting a fair amount of support on here.

As far as Floyd goes, I'm not surprised. I think we all know he'll eventually be in the long line of athletes/entertainers that blew all of their earnings.

50, for all his faults, has great business sense it seems. He's a smart guy.
