      Not really.

Cotto is not a Golden Boy fighter.

Well, he's not Golden Boy because let's say for arguments sake his next fight is with Tim Bradley, Golden Boy wouldn't be involved.

He doesn't have a contract with Golden Boy and is free to fight without any involvement from Golden Boy therefore he is not a Golden Boy fighter.

i think when the head of golden boy is in your dressing room, consoling you after you just lost, rather than in the ring with the guy who they actually do have a contract with, thats shows you whats going on there.

mayweather don't have a contract either but he's with golden boy.

so why can't mayweather fight a fighter signed with another promoter?

but he just never wants too huh? because victor ortiz was the biggest fight for him? because a robert guerrero fight is so big? you're being technical. i know he doesn't have a contract. but he's in business with golden boy. if he's mayweather promotions and cotto is cotto promotions, why did they need golden boy?
