It's not that I'm defending Conte, I'm just speaking from the facts. VADA seems to be a legit organization. It's unfortunate the Conte has been able to thrive after the Balco scandals but boxing is filled with less-than-honest people so I'm not surprised.

As for Donaire (or other atheletes currently working with Conte) I hope that they are clean. Props to Donaire for testing year round. It's much more difficult to beat a test when they are administered randomly year round.

There's your answer... If he is working with VADA, there's no reason Berto got busted by VADA.

But I do agree that its hard to trust Conte at this time.

Who's defending him? You've made claims that he's part of VADA that you couldn't back up, and now you're what? Saying that people asking you to back up your own statements is supporting Conte?

VADA is a legit organization, yes.

But Donaire's year-round testing is not to be praised. It's not to be praised because if he tests positive when he's out of competition, it is very unlikely he will be penalized. And the general public won't be aware of the positive because VADA doesn't release results to the public without the fighter's permission.

This is not even to talk about how it's also ******ed that all his opponents aren't testing the same way. And the entire point of random testing is to protect both fighters. Also keep in mind that because Donaire is attached to Conte, there is always a cloud of su****ion over him. Conte never talks about all of these details that can only be found under the fine print though. And Donaire's image would actually be better working with someone who didn't have such an internationally tarnished reputation.

People can easily make those allegations because of how much he promotes VADA consistently and regularly. He does it so much that it seems like he's a partner or shareholder. So it's not surprising that some have made that mistake. Even interviewers have asked Margaret Goodman (Founder of VADA) if Conte has some sort of big role in VADA.

And yet with USADA, he has been against them from the very beginning. Even though, USADA has a far greater reputation and deals with a wide range of sports. You would think he'd be consulting with USADA as much as he possibly can. Instead he criticizes them at any given opportunity.

You might be right but how can you explain Berto got busted by VADA while Conte is working with Berto? He sold Berto to VADA?

Right now, USADA have lots to explain rather than VADA. VADA is doing well on their testing by catching cheater using their testing protocols/procedures while USADA, Im not sure if they are really catching cheaters or not (based on Morales and Quilli incidents ).
