Victor Conte is a fraud. Andre Ward and Donaire should not work with him.

Right now, USADA have lots to explain rather than VADA. VADA is doing well on their testing by catching cheater using their testing protocols/procedures while USADA, Im not sure if they are really catching cheaters or not (based on Morales and Quilli incidents ).
If people are going to believe the other stuff that Conte say then you have to believe that he wasn't working with Berto at that time when Berto failed his test...I mean that is what he says

I think he is full of **** though, some of the stuff he say makes a lot of sense, but then again a lot of it is also him looking to make some money

Ok VADA caught a few people...AND? That just means going in those athletes did not respect VADA and probably did not take them serious compared to doing a USADA Test in which you likely won't even take the chance of trying to cheat their test because of their History

Taking Down Lance Armstrong is bigger then taking down Andre Berto? Lamont Peterson and some MMA Fighter nobody knows...Just Saying!

However I do think Conte is a great Nutritionist and people who work with him should not be considered "DIRTY" automatically...the man is on a short list and is being watched and randomly check up on I am sure just because of his History which made him part of the Biggest Sports Drug Scandal EVER, he would be foolish if he is still trying to help athletes Cheat

he is 100% Right USADA has holes and flaws in the way they do Testing "FOR BOXING"...but we gotta understand also that USADA only do testing when called upon, Boxing doesn't have a Governing Body so it is not like they can just jump in and tell Boxers "HEY WE HAVE TO TEST YOU EVEN WHEN YOUR NOT FIGHTING"...actually who ever is Licensing these fighters are the ones who should be testing them YEAR AROUND, I heard Nevada State Athletic Commission does it but it is HALF A$$ TESTING that can easily be cheated, you basically can come in and test when your ready to do so from what I hear and it is a simple Urine Test

Andre Berto Fails VADA Drug Test, Victor Conte Responds

        Paul Magno | May 18, 2012 | Comments 3

Another major fight may have bitten the dust under the weight of true random blood testing and the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) protocol.

Andre Berto, who is working with infamous doping expert, Victor Conte, has tested positive for a banned substance with just about a month before his scheduled rematch with Victor Ortiz on June 23.

Berto, a two-time world welterweight champ, allegedly tested positive for nandrolone, an anabolic steroid.

Victor Conte, who has dealt in illegal supplements in the past, has taken his case to Twitter, speculating that the positive test result could be as a result of a contaminated supplement Berto had used on his own.

“Andre has admitted that he was using additional supplements that were not provided to him by me,” Conte wrote. “I have recently warned several elite boxers about taking supplements I believe are not effective & possibly contaminated. Not all listen…I encourage my fighters to do VADA testing & will continue to do so.”

Ironically, Berto had accused Victor Ortiz of having used performance enhancing drugs following his unanimous decision loss to Ortiz last year.
That aint true. Berto stopped working with Conte before that fight. Conte had to make sure people knew that right away. Sideline consensus was that Conte told Berto and team what "stuff" to take and when but Team Berto screwed it up.

What was the immediate/laughable excuse from Conte? Sometimes machines that make legal drugs are used to make illegal drugs so that's how he got a trace amount.

You don't really believe that fluff do you? Because that smells like some hot horse **** to me. Sounds about as believable as the Morales story.

But Donaire's year-round testing is not to be praised. It's not to be praised because if he tests positive when he's out of competition, it is very unlikely he will be penalized. And the general public won't be aware of the positive because VADA doesn't release results to the public without the fighter's permission.

This is not even to talk about how it's also ******ed that all his opponents aren't testing the same way. And the entire point of random testing is to protect both fighters. Also keep in mind that because Donaire is attached to Conte, there is always a cloud of su****ion over him. Conte never talks about all of these details that can only be found under the fine print though. And Donaire's image would actually be better working with someone who didn't have such an internationally tarnished reputation.
Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that if you sign on to be tested by VADA (24/7-365) you agree to WADA rules which state any A or B samples that come back dirty get reported to the state commission. No loopholes, no exemptions, no reporting to promotors first. Just a B test to see if its a false positive but its all on the up and up.

Armstrong never tested positive on any USADA test. USADA only relies on testimonies so their testing sucks. When on the peak of Armstrong, where's USADA? Its not who is bigger if Armstrong or Berto, the question is, did they catch Armstrong using their testing procedures? maybe we just hire CIA or FBI instead of USADA coz their testing sucks and when they catch something, they hide it (Morales and Quillin)?

It is like hiring a thief to test a security system or a hacker to test a computer networks security. That was Conte's role, he is one of the foremost experts that knows how to beat the systems that got caught and is willing to talk about it.

He wouldn't be involved directly involved in cheating anymore he isn't that ******, but he probably knows the names of 100 guys that can and are willing to do his old job for the correct price. So he could play both sides advising the testers on testing to look in the right while advising fighters on who they should pay a visit to.

There's nothing wrong with USADA's testing. It's the disclosure of exemptions and the flow of information in general that's of concern to boxing fans.

Yes. When and if the A-sample is positive, VADA tells the fighter first and foremost. Before anyone else. Now you would think the Commission would be alerted at the same time right? But no, that is not the case.

The test does indeed get sent to the Commission, but not immediately. With Peterson, when he tested positive, VADA did not inform til after his B sample returned. Basically, Peterson knew for an entire month that he was positive before the Commission knew. And then his camp told VADA that they should NOT tell Golden Boy yet and threatened VADA. It's also one of the reasons VADA didn't tell Golden Boy about Peterson's positive, which led to them losing a boatload of money.
