    Andrew ''Freddie'' Flintoffs opponent...

35yr old ex cricket player Andrew Flintoff makes his pro debut at the weekend. Here is a video of his opponent 2-0 Richard Dawson.

He was in talks as a Kimbo Slice opponent before you may recall.

No training footage or anything but you can gauge an estimate of what sort of shape he is in etc
Would say he was slightly over 6ft at a guess and looks in shape.

Quite a lot are talking about Flintoffs debut in the U.K
I seen him on the mitts and tbh it was quite bad like

I agree, but he has balls for trying this, not too many people would dare. Wish him all the best but don't see him getting anywhere.

How much is he getting paid for the bout? Thousands of kids get in the ring & box for free so I'm not overly impressed with the size of his balls for doing what a very scared taansend did 30 odd years ago.

          p.s. I lost.

Should be good to see this arsehole get KO'd.. I am just trolling. I don't like Cricket, nor do I like Freddie.

Havent heard much about this other guy but a 2-0 (1ko) record is respectable for a pro debut.

On a side note i actually think this is good for the popularity of boxing, particularly the focus on him getting in shape, the boxer mentality and focus. I havent been to the gym for a month now but am going tonight because i watched the doc and it re motivated me.

Props to Barry Mcguigan and team for recognizing the potential of this opportunity, hes always been an amazing ambassador for the sport in these parts.

How the hell is this at the MEN? Surely it's going to be nowhere near full?

Didn't Warren absolutely slate Flintoff but now it's on his TV channel? Typical Frank.

As for Freddie his technique is horrible but he has decent speed and looks like he can whack.

Should be interesting but I can't see this journey ending well.

                    Fair play to Freddie though.
