    Luis Sandoval catches an unexpected meeting between middleweights Gennady Golovkin and Fernando Guerrero. Guerrero approached Golovkin in Ontario, during the Guerrero-Berto event, and requested a fight. Golovkin then spoke to BoxingScene about the possible encounter.

      i missed out on guerrero's last fight, but if hbo approves it, then why not. golovkin just needs to stay busy while guys like martinez, geale, sturm, pirog, and macklin become available for negotiations. too bad rodriguez was a no go.

        Guerrero trying to get back in the spotlight but he hasn't done anything to deserve a HBO main event. It's like GGG fighting Danny Jacobs next.

                    Both guys will "duck" him, he should fight any top 20 middleweight or Carlos Molina, who called him out and was willing to move up to fight him.
