If I were Golovkin's management I would keep him active with half-decent opposition and constantly call out Geale since Daniel supposedly wants his title back. If GGG can beat Geale (Apr.-Jun. 2013) and unify titles he can probably get the Martinez (late 2013-2014) fight or fight Quillin (late 2013) in the meanwhile.

Geale will probably rematch Sturm. Notice Sturm is fighting Geale's IBF mando next

And after that who will Geale be fighting (assuming he beats Sturm again in this hypothetic fight)? Plus I don't know if Geale is really willing to go to Germany and get robbed this time. He's been saying he wanted to fight Soliman and GGG after Mundine in no particular order. I take it that after Sturm beats Soliman, Geale will have more time to fight his mandatory and I don't see why the IBF wouldn't sanction a unification with GGG anyway.

GGG needs to look for that Geale fight, that should be his goal right now. In the meanwhile he can stay busy fighting half-decent opposition--not the Makoto Fuchigamis and Lajuan Simons of this world.

GGG will fight anyone from 154 to 168. He doesn't care who that is. Once he got HBO interested in televising his fights it's up to them choosing his opponent. Sure I hope it's Geale, Quillin or better yet Chaves (just want to see him hurt ) and than the top guy Sergio. In fact I feel for Sergio - don't want to see him hurt at this point in his career.
But if no one of those wish to get in the ring than who ever gets HBO approval. Golovkin needs as many fights in US TV as possible.
