It was a cherry pick. Polls in general are meaningless. After Fonfara beat Chavez, nearly 40% picked him to KO Kovalev in a poll. Amazing what beating crappy fighters does for a reputation, despite looking extremely ordinary throughout a career.

If you have a guy in your top 10 p4p you think highly of him. Period. Not saying you did. But anyone who had Guerrero as #10 p4p can't call him a cherry pick after the fact.

I hated the fight when it was announced personally so I'm not going to argue that it was a legacy building fight.
