Broner is just as fast as Berto, has much better defense, is way more accurate, and can punch as well. It would be a good fight, but Guerrero will fight a Welterweight next, not a Lightweight.

Guerrero vs Maidana/Bradley would be ideal.
Why can't Broner move up? Marquez did.

Berto is not even known for fighting inside,
he was forced to fight a style he is not even comfortable with and he was still able to land some good and accurate shots on Guerrero fairly easy

So I respectfully disagree, if I am Broner after watching that tonight I would be tempted to jump to 147 and fight him to be honest, especially if he can get Guerrero to fight inside with him like he was doing against Berto
And Guerrero is? Lol. He didn't even use his outside game. Just bullied his way right through berto like he wasn't there.

The Ghost beats that hype-ass punk down and pisses on that damn hair brush after the fight for good measure.

Berto's philly shell was terrible and embarrassing. Don't compare his with Broner's.

I think if/when this fight ever happens, Broner would win because as good and tough as Guerrero is, his defence is not good enough to be able to outpoint someone like Broner.

Unlike Berto, Broner actually knows how to box on the inside and is VERY effective at it. Guerrero is trash and Broner would beat the hell out of him.

You see Berto's face......just imagine what he would do to a small dude like Broner.

Fight wont happen, Guerrero is a big threat to a future superstar.

I'd actually favour Guerrero, people always under-rated him but now they are taking notice. He didn't even showcase his skill last night, he just showed people that he's physically strong at 147 and can give and take punishment. Mix that with his skill....he's a very, very good fighter.

Why do you think Guerrero didn't box last night? Was bullying Berto just a surer way to get it done?

After the early success of hurting him while up close, he seemed to carry those tactics on and it worked, he physically dominated Berto.

In fairness though, even on the outside Guerrero was doing the better work. Berto landed some good uppercuts along the way, but for the most part, he struggled with the fight being up close, just as he did against Ortiz.

Not sure anyone predicted that Guerrero would fight that way.

                      THIS!! ^^

Couldn't agree with you anymore, that 0 in Broners record doesn't tell the full story!
