i worry for hattons mental stability when he realizes this

hatton screwed up by coming back and losing to senchenko because at least he was able to say that he previously had only lost to the 2 best fighters of this generation ...no shame in that whatsoever

but now his record reads 45-3, and that 3rd loss is to the ATG HOF legend senchenko..oh wait, nevermind that dudes a nobody and a bum.. not exactly the kind of guy youd want to lose to (if you were ever going to lose at least lose to the best) ..senchenko does not belong in the company of floyd and manny, and now that hatton has a loss to him he will seriously question himself. atleast before he could rest safely on the fact that he was elite, just not quite as elite as those 2 ATG's ..no shame in that

i hope hatton copes with that well when he realizes it and i hope it doesnt screw with his confidence/mind

everyone but him could see that his comeback was a bad idea. I dont think this is the last time we will see him back. He will do it again.

      Possibly.

But on the flipside, he doesn't have to live the rest of his life saying "What if?".

I don't think he'll separate the two phases. Either he accepts that he had an incredible career, regardless of the defeats, or he lets all three of them torture him forever.

I don't think Ricky Hatton cares to be honest.

Yes that is right, and it is why he attacked his father for telling him this.

Listen to his post fight interview and everything he said before the fight.

This wasn't about winning or losing, this was about revisiting.

No doubt he has a lot more respect for Senchenko than the TS has, I don't think he will make as much of a distinction, and if he does, he can justify it with having been out of the ring for so long.
