Am I the only one that thought Ricky looked pretty good? I don't mean compared to prime Ricky; I mean relative to Senchenko. He was winning the fight, although Senchenko started getting off in those last three rounds. While he was getting hit with the jab when Senchenko used it, and he was getting hit with the right hand coming in, he was also landing his own shots with relative ease. Ring rust or not, I thought he looked good early in the fight.

To say Ricky was "outclassed" is unfair. Again, he was winning the fight.

It was sad to see how devastated he was after the loss. He was crushed, but I don't think he has anything to be ashamed of. Senchenko was catching up to him late in the fight, but Ricky didn't get embarrassed in there. **** happens.

EDIT: Apparently, I wasn't the only one (see SugarRayCurtain's post above).

Wow, Ricky, why not sleep on it first? If you continue to make decisions based on pure emotion, you will be forever uneretiring and retiring.

The fans that thought Ricky was winning that fight were looking at it with their hearts instead of their eyes. I believe Ricky possibly won the first four but I believe it was either the fourth or fifth round when the Ukrainian started to control the fight and in my opinion was dominating Ricky when the fight was stopped. Good Luck to Mr. Hatton in what ever choices he makes and lets all hope they are good ones!

So who's making the "how does Pac's KO look now" thread? lol

Like I said years ago, Hatton was done when he fired his entire team and went completely down hill in life and in boxing.

He should have hung them up years ago. Can't blame him though as many boxers continue to fight well past it....

Three and-a-half years is a long time to come back and fight a solid opponent. If he was going to make a serious run, Hatton needed to take one or two easier tune-ups before fighting a guy like Senchenko. People don't realize how much timing and conditioning is lost in that span. At the highest levels, that kind of regression is exposed brutally.

I hope Ricky can wrap his mind around this loss and what it means. Good luck to him.

******! What Made ANY Rube Think Hatton Had A Chance!

He was literally put in a coma in devastating fashion by Pacquiao. I mean a BRUTAL two round knockout, cold, quivering. He abused his body walking away from boxing with drugs and alcohol, and the anyone thought he'd come back from that abuse to himself???? He go bye bye. Eric Morales went bye bye. Oscar Dela Hoya got humiliated. And Juan Manuel Marquez at 40 years old will get the shock of his life, when Pacquiao stretches him out in a bloody pool. Forget the previous 3 fights, this 4th will be dramatically different. Hatton, save your money. Your career is finished and everyone including you knows that.

This version of Hatton would still beat Palie "Glass jaw" Malignaggi..paulie would be on his bike all night..if Cano was robbed against him..Hatton would win.

I agree with this. Hatton was already past prime when he fought pac but he's definitely in his prime when he fought pbf. floyd was just lucky and got help with that damn ring post.
