I knew before the fight how this would most likely transpire but during the ring walk, i noticed his legs, they looked thick but not in a muscular way. They looked lazy like he had pushed really hard to lose the weight but he hadn't really been keeping up with the cardio over a period of time. He just looked like he shed weight but not conditioned his muscles very well.

Am I the only one that thought Ricky looked pretty good? I don't mean compared to prime Ricky; I mean relative to Senchenko. He was winning the fight, although Senchenko started getting off in those last three rounds. While he was getting hit with the jab when Senchenko used it, and he was getting hit with the right hand coming in, he was also landing his own shots with relative ease. Ring rust or not, I thought he looked good early in the fight.

As for the Tyson comparison, I think Ricky was more effective offensively in this fight than Tyson was late in his career.

Ricky looked emaciated to me. You could really tell after the fight, when he was doing the interview. He didn't look healthy at all IMO.

He looked good early on but he was spent after the 5th round. Senchenko does not throw punches in bunches and he doesn't attack when the opponent is hurt, plus he shows the opponent too much respect. Hatton did well but should have taken a tune-up fight first to see where he stood.

Hatton didn't look old!! He looked & fought just like the Hatton of always & for being out of the ring for 3 years that's good!! Except that for being 3 years off, he started throwing a lot of shots in the 1st few rounds & towards the end he looked sort of gassed & wasn't throwing as much & he was still winning the fight, but then came that picture perfect shot to the liver(Mickey Ward style) that ended the fight!! If it wasn't for that shot, Hatton would have won cause that shot would have brung anyone down & it's almost impossible to recover from a shot like that.. Just ask De La Hoya or Virgil Hill...

Hatton deserved to lose at home on his knees begging for air

Wee battered Rickyhatton's lost the support of the father he recently beat up. Ricky is an empty shell of man hollow inside and devoid of character. Drugs and booze have eaten away at the inner core of Hatton leaving a confused addict depleted and drained. I'm glad Hatton lost a t hom ein front of all those dumb brits.
