I agree there are a lot of cherry pickers but as far as fighting past prime guys that's what happens in boxing, like I said it's the nature of the sport. The older guys eventually get beat & replaced by the younger guys.
Just look at a young Oscer...He beat past prime Chavez, Whitaker & Camacho within 1-2 years.Comment

i dont think thats what hes doing. I think hes giving macho big praise by saying that there arent fighters like him anymore and that hes a perfect example of what these modern fighters should strive forComment

In how many fights? Oscar had less than 25(give or take) fights when he fought Chavez/Whitaker. Top it off Whitaker was in the P4P best in the world...ranked 1 or 2. So whoever beats Mayweather/Pac now shouldn't get credit? Better yet name me someone with 25 fights or less that could beat either of those two.
Also, there's nothing impressive about Oscar's number of fights considering that Whitaker fought for a world title with around 14 pro fights . Also look when Vargas stepped up to fight prime Trinidad. Both far earlier than Oscar .
