I felt, when he went to a knee moments after that left, that it was a delayed reaction from the left cross Sanders landed.

So the answer to your question is yes.
He won by stoppage but didn't actually knock him down.

no, that Sanders thing was a slip
if Sanders couldn't get him down, nobody could
Lennox landed plenty of monster punches and couldn't do it either
don't even think he's had a flash KD against him

No, never was, never would be...

I don't know why people discuss on lennox's fight. Sanders was much closer of doing the job. Lennox had every chance to KO Vitali in those 2-3 rounds when Vitali was half-blind/tired but it was pretty obvious he couldn't do it, not even with his biggest trade-mark punches. No Lennox version (not the version that fought Vitali nor the mythological "young Lennox" aka wet dreams version would).

Vitali's chin is definition of granite - I would give prime Foreman and prime Tyson chance of KO him..

Vitali started out strong was beating Lewis to the jab, then it turned into a all out brawl because Lewis was unable to execute his jab game plan. After round 4 they were fighting on the inside and thats when it started going downhill for Vitali, he ate up some huge bombs, he was tired, his face was a mess.

The longer it went on, the more it swayed towards the more experienced fighter who had been in with better competition. Vitali didnt once hurt Lewis in the fight, not once, Lewis however rocked Vitali with a great uppercut which wobbled him and he held on for dear life till the bell went.

Lewis being Knocked out in the past has no bearing, Vitali has no inside game and that was his downfall against an old aged Lewis.

If the Kilts had inside game they wud be great to watch, soon as you get on the inside they just cant cope.

Totally agree with this post -- 100% .

I dont know what the judges were watching..i had it even on the cards. Go back and watch the fight again.
