First off let's not forget Guerrero did struggle with Aydin if you want to compare Collazo, and Quintana.. Guerrero won but he didn't look impressive himself and lacked alot of punching power, which is whats need to negate Berto's attack. In this fight we will see if Guerrero is a true 47 pounder which I dont think that he is.. After this fight he can always fight Broner @ 140 which I think would be a way better fight for him and more comfortable weight..

Yeah, he made real hard work of Aydin who's tiny and not very good. Aydin was like 150 fight night, Guerrero 1lb less? That's a decent sized 140er, with t rex arms.

Guerrero wins this. He is too tough and to consistent to lose to a guy like Berto. Guerrero will throw 100 punches a round, go to the body, win rounds and grind out a W. Berto only wins if he can seriously hurt Robert, but nobody has ever done that before.

Cuban, how do you think ring rust will affect Berto's performance?

Ring rust is the only hope that Guerrero has imo. He's simply not good enough any other way.

If Guerrero survives an onslaught for the first 4-5 rounds, he has a better chance of winning. But surviving a Berto onslaught is not easy.

I would take the naturally gifted Berto over the tough guy Guerrero via KO.

I thought he destroyed Quintana and couldn't miss against Zaveck from what I saw.

The Collazo fight was very exciting and he didn't look like ****, top 5 fights of 2009 IMO. Berto-Ortiz was one of the best fights of 2011.

He lost to Ortiz, and apart from a 'knockdown' against Collazo he pretty much won that fight. He put Quintana on a highlight reel.

Guerrero lost to Diaz, lost to Salido, got knocked down by Casamayor. Struggled against Aydin.

I honestly don't see how Berto can keep up with the speed and work rate of Guerrero. Yes, Berto has power, but the guy has no stamina! If Guerrero can keep him moving, and his chin holds up, it's an easy victory. Berto will be gassed by the 8th.

Berto has a punchers chance and will try and hold 85% of the fight.

Nope, not kidding at all. Berto has better natural ability and power than Bradley. Remember Pacquiao didn't want to fight Berto for good reason, Berto is freakishly athletic but also possesses good boxing skills. Bradley and Guerrero are similar fighters imo, they don't have natural boxing ability they came up through attrition. Bradley has a good inside game, but he was beating up fighters that he was a lot stronger than in the smaller weight classes. When he moved up to fight Pacquiao he looked vulnerable and then complained about two broken toes after the fight.

Don't let the Ortiz fight make you form an opinion of Berto, he would crush Ortiz in a rematch. That's what a lot of people are hoping for, that he shows up like that against Guerrero. Unfortunately Guerrero will found out what a right hook from Berto feels like.
