The more I hear from Hatton the more I'm convinced this 'comeback' is all about the cash.

I imagine they would do the rematch in Vegas not New York if it's in the state. Way more money there with the casinos, and the Brits would go anywhere to see Ricky fight.

And why would Ricky have a problem? People can talk all they want, but go back and watch the first fight again. Paulie COULD NOT keep Ricky off of him no matter what he threw, landed or did. Ricky figured out that Paulie has a weak punch and just sloppily battered him, and he will do it again. Even a much worse version of Ricky beats Paulie simply because Paulie cant keep Ricky off of him and cant get out of the way. Disagree? Fine. Go watch the first fight again. I am actually going with Paulie in the rematch. Obviously Paulie is not known for his power lol...but at WW he has actually stopped 2 guys and slashed and cut up Cano's face too. He is actually 5-0 as a WW so things may go differently. It seems at WW he actually has somewhat more pop, even if not much of course. We all know Hattons face cuts up like tissue paper because his skin is so thin so Paulie may be able to slash his face up with sharp punching and get a stoppage so.

hatton came back coz his promotional company needs a boost to attract more viewers to his stable. the risk outweighs the benefits. if hatton loses in brutal fashion, then all his hardwork would be for nothing and everyone would lose interest not only on hatton as a fighter but as a promoter as well. but if he wins consistently, just like he used to, he can ride that wave to the top and bring his stable to another level
