      1) Drug related
      2) Gang related
      3) Infidelity

You stay away from "Area Metro" and don't get involve in any of those 3, you are good to go! So my main point is, if he wasn't getting high in that car with drugs all over the place, he would be fine... so it's not really the Country, is the people who live life on the edge... Sadly, Macho was one of those!

I sympathize with Camacho's family and that this is indeed heartbreaking stuff, but you're right. When I heard the news yesterday, I assumed it was drug-related or something. I'm in the states right now, but I can tell you that up until recently, I had lived the last 15 years of my life in Puerto Rico, and what you said about the Vocero is true (that newspaper is depressing).

You're also right when you mention that you have to watch out who you mingle with in Puerto Rico. Me? I was raised pretty strict and even in college the nightlife didn't seem that appealing to me. In Puerto Rico, drug-related news is an EVERYDAY thing. Let's not even get started on "Area Metro".

I didn't exactly follow Camacho's career, but from the way he carried himself outside of the ring and his demeanor in general seemed like the type of individual who could be susceptible to hanging out in the wrong crowd.

I feel bad for what was found in the car, and I feel worse for the way Camacho ended up.

It serves as another example of why you stay off the streets and not get involved in drugs/gangs.

          This one is better imo.

Horrible news but not surprising seeing how he was always getting into trouble because of drugs.

Was never KO'd in the ring, but this fight is a tough one to claim victory from.

Turning pro as a boxer was the path that prevented him from becoming another statistic earlier in his life. Hopefully, the positive rewards outweighed any regrets he may have contemplated.

            And the fight continues.

Hey bro! I really appreciate your honesty and your experience in PR.. You speak of what you walked in life-from experience with that being said I have been a Camacho fan for many years, one of the reason's I became a boxing fan. I just hope he wasn't selling drugs because I will have no pitty on his death and in fact will have some harsh words. I just hope he wasn't.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he was may god have mercy on his soul......

Just said a prayer for him and prayed that pastor Nicky Cruz and others can stand in the gap for him.

Damn, for such a small, close-knit community, the boxing world has a lot of high profile deaths every year. . very sad. . .

Camacho was the man (is the man still).
