No matter who wins, I dont think either of them prove anything.
If Roy Jones Defeats Bernard Hopkins, What Does That Do For His Legacy?

Regardless of what this fight means (which everyone is right, it means nothing at all), I think Roy is going to win. He was scared of getting knocked out by Antonio Tarver, but I doubt he is worried about Hopkins knocking him out, so hopefully he won't fight as cautious as he did against Tarver.
Roy is the one who is going to have to carry this thing. Hopkins isn't changing for anyone and I expect him to fight Jones the same way he fought Taylor, doing nothing for the first half of the fight. If Jones fights like he did against Tarver, there is not going to be any reason for the first seven rounds, just make it a five round fight.
I hope the old Roy Jones shows up. (And I am far from a fan).Comment

Even though the fight is pointless, Roy Jones Jr. in my opinion can still fight a good fight. I believe the loser of this fight should call it quits.Comment

this fight should be treated like a charity event at best, all proceeds go to the aid of some charity. it's the least they could do. in reality all they're trying to do is cash in one one more payday before they head for the sunset. i am a huge hopkins fan and i know that this fight has the potential of being a bore fest, and the sad thing is, i'm probably going to buy it.....sometimes boxing is a sickness for me..... i can't help myself...Comment
