Like our sport needs more wars outside the ring.

And to the folks who are trumping up Nonito, LOL. He is working with Conte. It shouldnt be praised that he is doing this testing. If they are allowing Conte to work with athletes again it should be MANDATORY if you are working with a former drug creator to do year round testing.
so your telling us Marquez should also doing 24/7 365 testing like Donaire is doing?

Conte is going back to jail if he's caught again. I don't see him taking that risk. He makes plenty of money in other ways.

might be the case but we cant remove from others mind that he might do it again... But your thought is also highly possible.

Crimes aren't always about the money a person can make. People commit crimes for many different reasons.

Very true. Conte probably never did it for money in the first place.

My point is that having already served time in prison, and having the threat of more hanging over him, it would take something like financial desperation to lead most people to take that risk.

"NO NO NO Not my guy!" LOL.

Test him. Test Pac too. Test Americans, Germans, Mexicans, Ricans, Africans, Orientals. Test them all. The whole sport needs an overhaul when it comes to PED's. Not just high profile fighters. The zombies they bring in there, the journeymen, the upstarts. All of them should be tested year round. Working with a former drug cheat or a career boy scout. Test them all without discrimination.

Im just a fan. Not in a position to make a change in this sport. I can only give my opinion and this stinks like one of those backroom deal episodes of Breaking Bad. I am curious to see where this leads but that's about where my curiosity ends. People can get smoked getting too close to this kind of political fire.

When did this sport stop being about the fights in the ring and start being about the promoters, the managers, the writers, the strength coaches, the drug agencies, the blogs, the fight purses? LOL. So much BS. I remember back in the day it was just gossip about who could whoop who. Now its about taking sides of who has the juicier gossip.

This is still one sport, boxing.

Somewhere someone is playing divide and conquer.

              Who?

The issue then becomes who pays for it.

Listen to the podcast that Conte did with Joe Rogan. He said that he never did it for the money. He did it for the glory of making the athletes he worked with victorious. He even talks about his time in prison and said that while he wouldn't want to go back it wasn't that hard.

As for the Hauser article, while his main thesis mentions Floyd, it is actually about USADA's shadiness in discarding and withholding information. Hauser mentions that all the Floyd is just rumors and at the end of the article still says that he doesn't know whether Floyd juiced or not.

As for the posters saying that Hauser isn't a journalist, the guy was nominated for the Pulitzer and is currently the head chairman of the Boxing Writer's Assocation.

The cost of testing should be split between the fighters, promoters, state commissions and the alphabet belt organizations. Testing benefits them all so split the costs
