Not happening any time soon. Especially since Rios will be fighting Pacquiao on April 20. Rios will need several months to recover from that beatdown.

Instead, he should put Rios in with Mathysse which would be a competitive fight while it lasts and Rios possibly walks away with the victory and his undefeated record still in tact. I don't think he would, but he has a better shot at Lucan than Pac.

If Arum didn't need Rios as a possible Manny opponent it would be more likely to work.

Plus that is a good offer, they look like they are trying for their guy Mares since he wants Donaire bad so GBP at least looks like they are trying to him and GBP is in the fight business so they really needs to get something out of it beyond just a fee. Money. He can get close to 1 million PPV buys and a $10 million gate with Rios vs. Pac. Then he still has Rios vs. Alvarado 2, Rios vs. Bradley, Rios vs. Provodnikov and numerous other fights where he can be lead promoter.
