There was a guy on this forum who liked to summarise those things. I am not a big fan of those numbers but they still looked quite impressive.

It took the least rounds for him to become a champion, he has the longest run of KO of any HW in history, his KO percentage was the highest for the long time.. These are just some I can remember. If you are really interested I can find more or you can find those in one of the previous threads on Vitali - it's quite a list.

I haven't checked to be honest - but all of them can't be wrong. I can't thing of any HW with 27-0-0 27KO...

Never been knocked down much less out as a pro.

Came back from 3+ years off due to injury to reclaim his WBC title in his first fight back and then defended it numerous times, losing only a few rounds in the process. Not only remarkable in boxing, but in sports in general.

2nd highest KO % in the division's history after Marciano.

Has never trailed on the scorecards at the end of ANY of his fights, even the two losses.

            ATG?

You even need to ask this?

            Of course he is.

              I agree with this ^^^^^^.

Holyfield is a drug cheat as a professional, James Toney as well, Roy Jones Jr., etc., so are you disqualifying them from ATG status as well?

Of course he's not. No ATG can fight in a weight class, especially a heavyweight, and not beat an ATG. His best win is Sanders. Retirement really hurt him too.

                    Just no. No no no.
