im kinda torn about this whole situation. I feel dibellas comments on not wanting to fight some one like golovkin because of financial reasons as a slap to all boxing fans, but I cant help to but also understand that he is coming off a surgery and that hbo is only willing to give like half of the money if the fight takes place in Argy. Im almost inclined to give him a pass on this one despite the fact that im not a fan of his recent competition

He just had a trashed knee and hand. Let him see how it holds up before he fights someone like ggg. It's not like he twisted his ankle and he's 20.

So how can Sergio fans claim Floyd, who is two weight classes away from Sergio in terms of size, is ducking Sergio......but then also claim that Sergio fighting Murray and not fighting Golovkin is alright, even though Golovkins is CLEARLY the biggest threat for Sergio???? And hey, they are both in the same weight class and around the same size.

Double standard???? I mean Dibella and Team Sergio were running around talking about how Golovkin brings nothing to the table and no one knows him, acting like Sergio is a PPV star or some s**t (he was responsible for maybr 5% tops of those 475K PPV buys).......and than fight Murray.

I don't mind the opponent considering he's coming off an injury but how in the hell does he expect to fight Floyd while campaigning at 160?

Because he doesn't expect to fight Floyd?

He is just using Floyd's name to help build his, and because it is related to Floyd a whole host of people will spring to the cause. It is a brilliant move really because Sergio won't get blasted over it, except for maybe a few and there would be many more on Sergio's side~

I thought Murray beat Felix Sturm so this isn't a bad fight at all if you ask me. Especially considering that Sergio will be coming off of knee surgery.

They would show up sadly. He recently became a celebrity there among regular people who don't even watch boxing. He could pretty much fight anyone and most people won't know the difference.
