It's disgraceful that the only bit of news on this is handheld mobile phone coverage. It seems like it's been swept under the carpet to me

I just heard about it aocuple of minutes ago. It's not any major boxing site and no one seems to be talking about it.

      I wonder why ?

Only reason I can think of is the commission believe that the glove was already damaged. I'm sure if K2 believed there was anything untoward they would have put in a complaint. Slightly mind-blowing at the moment

The reason it might have been ignored is because it might not have been tampered with, thus nothing illegal done. They might have tried to take advantage of a poorly made glove that had a split in the padding during manufacture and thus been dodgy that way, but that is not them actually tampering with the glove, it's just them trying to take advantage of a bad situation and hoping no one would notice it. Still dodgy and very dangerous, but I guess that might explain why we haven't heard anything more and why nothing was done on the spot or later.

the little guy that comes in sounds like he says there is no padding... looked like right from the touch of all those people that they found something wrong with the gloves.

why would wachs people use a glove with no padding, faulty glove or not... and it be the right glove.... smh im sure he was on some kind of juice.

illegally tampering with gloves and wraps is disgusting...much worse than using peds imo.

Looks like foul play to me.

Grant gloves are are made with foam and horsehair. A layer of foam glued to the leather shell, followed by a layer of horsehair then foam, which is encased in a quilted nylon shell.

Here is an Everlast MX glove that uses the same style of glove making.
