I was ringside covering that fight, Mares landed a bunch of low blos which the ref didn't even acknowledged. It was part of his game plan what more can you say, and it worked.

Like a lot of boxing fans, Bernstein is sick of seeing paid off refs ignore the constant dirty fighting Mares does, not only without the ref ever warning him but the ref penalizing the fighter Mares is fouling instead. Its sickening to watch.

I didn't think it was that bad. His beef with was the ref taking the point away from Moreno, when Mares had been warned several times for low blows and hitting on the back, continued to do it, and no point was taken from him.

Still, big win for Abner. This definitely put him in the Top 10 P4P.
