Haye would not take the fight to Wach, he'd be doing his Valuev pot shot and run routine.

      You couldn't be more wrong.

Anyone familiar with Wladimir's fights would know his left hook is at least as powerful as his right hand. He knocked Chambers out cold with it, he knocked down the iron-chinned Ray Mercer with it, he knocked Barret down and hurt others with it. Furthermore, Wlad has 1 of the most accurate right hands in boxing.

If Haye and Wlad were to fight again, with different tactics Haye can definitely win, he needs to take more risks, he needs to jab with him because he has a very underrated jab does Haye. If Haye gets Wlad hurt, Haye stops him.
It would certainly not be a massacre. Haye is simply not that big a puncher at heavyweight. If you think he could knock down 240 lb fighters as he did cruiserweights, you're wrong.

The only way Haye could beat Wladimir is by flopping down enough times to get 12 points taken away or by waiting until Wlad is an old man and trying to fight him then like he is doing with Vitali now.

Haye stopped Monte Barret quicker. Not that that means anything. After all, George Foreman had far less problems with Frazier than Ali did, and Mayweather took longer to dispose of Hatton than Pacquiao did, Briggs beat Mercer quicker than Lewis did, etc. Don't mean ****.

Wladimir is a more cautious fighter, so of course it is going to take him longer.

I think the most likely result would be haye by wide UD in a fairly boring fight - its possible he'd stop him but I doubt it. I'd rather see price in there with Wach tbh and if price does a number on wach it would be a great build up to a wlad fight

          Based on what, I ask?

Every HW that has been hit by Haye has either been dropped, rocked or forced to grab hold instantly. Chisora had an iron chin and was flattened, Ruiz who hadn't been down in years was flattened, Barrett was flattened, Valuev was made dance.....Haye is a monster puncher, at cruiser or heavy.

It would be like Haye-Valuev II.

Haye has speed mixed with power. It's a different kind of power than Wlad.

                He would stop Wach early.

Haye is a heavy puncher at heavyweight, but he doesn't have the 1 punch knockout power he did at cruiserweight.

Price is a monster puncher at heavyweight; Haye is not.

so much depends on what version of haye turns up - if its the ***** it will be a wide decision win for him, if its the warrior (who appears rarely and usually only against guys close to his own size) he would probably stop wach - but as i said i'd rather see price v wach

would you please re-watch the ruiz-fight? it was a tko because ruiz was hit way too often and his corner threw in the towel, but at the time of the stoppage ruiz was far from being unable to defend himself. look at the number of clean shots ruiz took - and he was still standing.
