How many times did Vanes find himself hanging over the ropes looking at the crowd? I call that, LOOKING SILLY.

Numbers weren't even exaggerated cause Lara landed TWO the last round and was only given 1. Look at jabs landed too.

Defense doesnt win fights without an offense. Lara landed like 1-2 left hands a round, all while back peddling

Lara was seriously sharp-shooting with that left hand, I could sense the stoppage coming, which is why I didn't bother with a score-card. Both guys need a do-over cuz I know they can come better than that.

Looks like this thread is heating up, and the double standard thread is cooling off. I had a honset question that I asked in the other thread, I guess I'll move it over here to see what ya'lls thoughts are on it. BRB.

Question. How do the two of you feel about the traps that Lara was setting but didnt pull the trigger on. He kept setting a trap for the looping left after Vanes adjusted to the straight left(somewhat). And he went away from the best set up of that straight left by abondoning the jab to the body. Vanes did nothing to take that jab to the body away, other than applying pressure with NO jab, and trying to loop the right.

For some reason Lara was trying to set up lead lefts off of traps rather than varying between a soft ouch, and stiff jab. This confused me as Lara showed the ability to turn Vanes for most of the fight, not to mention he was inconsistant at dictating range. Thoughts??????

A lot of fighters have fought with worse eyes than Vanes'. Vitali vs Lewis comes to mind. Vanes didn't give the doctor or his cutman a chance to work on his eye. He just simply said "I can't see" before the doctor even said anything so of course it's gonna get stopped. The cut was bad and you're not "supposed" to see but IMO he found a way out cause he didn't even bother to try.

The cut was in a bad spot, but he did NOT give his cut man an oppurtunity to work the cut at ALL. But I expected some whining from Vanes, he whines in damn near every fight.
