I actually worry for Donaire with the cards last night and those low blows

Mares was more wreckless last night than Darchinyan has ever been in any fight. Mares fighting as a brawler will walk right into Donaire's power and it will be over. I gave Mares a better chance to win before last night but not anymore. Once he feels Donaire's power, he backs up and doesn't engage like he did at times last night. Then it will be Donaire backing him up and hurting him. Game over either way.

It's called strategy smart guy!!! There's no way Mares would employ that strategy on Donaire.

Definitely. His resume is every bit as good as Donaire's really and it's a great styles clash where they both look to lead with powershots. It's not going the distance.

So true. Mares knows that Moreno can't hurt a fly. That is why Mares was bull rushing him. If he did that way against Donaire, he will likely lose by late KO. Even though he was being backed, Moreno was hitting Mares. Donaire has the power to stop the bull rush of Mares.

If Mares fights Donaire, please, no Mexican American referee. I really don't care for Donaire, but I find it pretty hard to root for a guy who has had so many unfair advantages in recent fights even if he is willing to fight the best.

Don't kid yourself! When he realizes he CANNOT box Donaire on the outside, he will bull-rush him and get caught coming in.

he wins cause he is dirty. darchinian beat him , acbeko beat him , and moreno out box him . if he were penalized for hitting lows , coming with his head , kidney puinches , etc , he would lose clearly. rigondeaux , who beat him in a gold medal match and donaire would kill him.

i give mares credit for taking these fights , but he is so dirty that always win with cheating. he has beaten two batanweights , eric morel , at a catch weight of 120 ; and moreno . mares has not beaten a real 122 as poonsawat , terrazas , rigondeaux or donito . i think that mares has no power , stamina to go with these guys . rigo and donaire are to much for him .
